How to install CDP/R1soft on a CentOS 6/7 server

Continuous data protection (CDP), also called continuous backup or real-time backup, refers to backup of computer data by automatically saving a copy of every change made to that data, essentially capturing every version of the data that the user saves. It is extremely essential to install a CDP agent to safeguard all your important data from being lost.

vi /etc/yum.repos.d/r1soft.repo

[r1soft]
name=R1Soft Repository Server
baseurl=http://repo.r1soft.com/yum/stable/$basearch/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=0

yum install r1soft-cdp-enterprise-agent -y
r1soft-setup --get-module
on CentOS 6:
sudo iptables -I INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 1167 -j ACCEPT
sudo service iptables save
On CentOS 7:
